Reader, I Slid Into His DMs
A zine that anyone who's "chronically online" will relate to, "Reader, I Slid Into His DMs" is a funny retelling of a one-sided attempt to flirt with a stranger, but it's also an honest exploration of the loneliness and detachment we often experience online.

The zine is formatted as a corporate annual report because the idea of a public document that’s super serious and no-nonsense, the purpose of which is to assure shareholders their investments are healthy, is the exact kind of contrast that felt funny to me.
There’s something hilarious about the idea of a posturing-heavy corporate report intermixed with the self-lacerating honesty about something so trivial, like a DM. In a way, it becomes this "audit" of emotions, and that clash between seriousness and sensitivity aligned with my sensibilities.
